Feeling Is The Secret is Neville’s classic on why emotion is the “seal” that impresses the subconscious. He explains that what you feel to be true, especially as you fall asleep, hardens into fact. The book teaches you to generate the feeling of the wish fulfilled, relax the body, and let the mind accept the new reality as natural. It’s short, focused, and intensely practical.

Feeling as the key to impressing the subconscious
“Wish fulfilled” as a lived inner state
    Sleep-state practice (SATS) for assumption
Simple, repeatable technique for daily use

A bestselling author and AI team up to write a novel. Chaos ensues.

AI is changing the world at frightening speed. A bestselling author decides to find out more…

Is ChatGPT the end of creative industries as we know them? An ethical quagmire from which there is no return? A threat to all our jobs, as we keep hearing on the news?

Bestselling children’s author Andy Stanton has made a career out of writing differently – from the unconventional ‘hero’ of his bestselling Mr Gum series to his penchant for absurdist plots, his children’s books are anything but formulaic.

When a friend introduces him to ChatGPT, the new large language chatbot, Andy is as sceptical as he is curious. Can this jumble of algorithms really mimic the spontaneity of human thought? Could it one day replace human authors like him for good? And are we soon to be ruled over by despotic robot overlords.

He decides there’s only one thing for it – he must test this bot’s capabilities. Eventually, he settles on a prompt that will push the algorithm to its creative limits: ‘tell me a story about a blue whale with a tiny penis.’

    Chaos ensues.

What follows is a surprising and illuminating battle between Andy and ChatGPT that maybe, just maybe, might help us all understand AI a little bit better. Join Andy and his beleaguered AI lackey on a rollicking metafictional journey through the art of storytelling. Presenting his prompts and the AI-generated narrative alongside extensive commentary, Stanton provides a startling paean to the art of a good story and boundless human creativity. Hopeful and hilarious, Benny the Blue Whale provides a joyfully anarchic meditation on AI, literature and why we write.

How did I get started in Louisa May Alcott's research? Is Beth really just part of the sick girl trope or is there more in her? and why is Friedrich from Germany? Why did the film-makers erase Laurie's backstory? What is Amy's relationship with Catholicism? was Louisa May Alcott religious? Did she want to get married? are Fritz and Laurie really based on men in her life? I've got so many questions from you guys that I will answer them in this excellent Little Women Q&A. One thing that surprised me was that it was really difficult to find studies on Laurie. I was interested in Laurie as an individual, and why he behaves the way he does. I was expecting to find a lot about him because Laurie is a popular character, at least according to the filmmakers, a lot more popular than Friedrich, and I didn't find anything about him. Nothing about him being an orphan. The tricky relationship that he has with his grandfather or why he's hanging in Jo´s apron strings. There are scenes in Little Women where Laurie is annoyed when Jo is lecturing him, but he's still addicted to her care. Maybe Amy's screen portrayals are the reason why there hasn't been that much research made on May Alcott by scholars .I think the same applies to Laurie and Friedrich in films. Laurie is this pretty guy who Jo rejects. Then in a lot of the studies that I read, the writer was asking why did Louisa May Alcott marry Jo to an old German and not to the rich and handsome young Laurie? Okay. Friedrich is not old. He's 39. If you read letters between Louisa and her publisher, Thomas Niles, Louisa was the one who came up with all the marriages. When I was reading these essays, it was so frustrating because the book doesn't show Laurie as this manic pixie dream boy, as the movies do, but more as a seriously troubled young man.

At 10.20 p.m. on 21 May 1991, a young woman bowed before Rajiv Gandhi at an election rally in Sriperumbudur, 42 km north of Chennai. And then there was an explosion.
This book is the definitive account of one of the most controversial crimes in contemporary India. It unravels the complex plot hatched by the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) to ensure that Rajiv Gandhi did not return to power in the 1991 general elections.
Ninety Days provides a blow-by-blow account of how the Special Investigation Team of the CBI cracked the assassination plot, identified the assassins and chased the mastermind, Sivarasan, to his final hideout. The deaths from cyanide consumption of the members of the hit squad left several unanswered questions in their wake, which this book explores.

Old Before Their Time is the deeply personal story of a thirty-five-year scientific investigation of the effects of childhood sexual abuse on child development and adult outcomes. The startling conclusion is that early childhood trauma accelerates biological aging of the body and the mind.

The listener will gain a comprehensive perspective on the many ways in which maltreatment embeds itself in a child's mind, body, and behavior and is expressed across generations. It concludes that the prevention of child maltreatment is the single most powerful target for the prevention of mental illness, and for reducing premature death from common illnesses.

One in five women and one in eight men report a history of child sexual abuse. As adults, victims often have questions about how it has affected them. Old Before Their Time provides answers as well as recommendations to improve child protection and treatment services which impact millions of children and families every year. Written for a general science reader, this engaging book is well-referenced for professionals who work with children or adults with histories of child maltreatment.
