Summary

Book 2 in the Misfit Shifters series and sequel to Mitch
Thor, the winged lion guardian of the Bluebird Valley Preserve, is dying, and too weak now to sustain his powerful magic which protects the land and inhabitants from harm. There's only one way to save himself and that's by sacrificing Zach.
When a gut feeling lures Zach back to the preserve, he answers it. Despite his tragic breakup with Thor a decade earlier, he knows he must step in to help the man save the preserve, even as Thor does his best to deflect him at every turn. But Zach can out stubborn a mule.
As winged horse, Zach is more than just a pretty face. His special abilities pale, however, compared to what happens when he and Thor come together. What Thor doesn't count on are new and old enemies forcing his hand -- and Zach's persistence, not just in saving him and the Preserve, but in stealing his heart, as well.

Rarely does a trauma therapist disclose their own trauma history . . . yet it's the untold, brutally honest, incredibly heartbreaking story of Dr. Frank Anderson that made him the world-renowned trauma expert he is today.

Known for his magnetic and radiant personality, Frank spends his time training thousands of clinicians around the world on how to help clients with complex trauma make sense of their suffering. But underneath this charismatic exterior are his dark family secrets, including the marks of child abuse from his father and the invisible scars of shame.

In To Be Loved, Frank shares his confusing experience of growing up an outsider in a typical Midwestern Italian American home that was at one turn fiercely loving but at the same time unaccepting, abusive, and rife with secrets.

After enduring six years of therapy as a child in the 1970s, he was programmed to be something that he wasn't for decades, and became driven to create the perfect life—until it all fell apart.

It was only then that he realized resilience, forgiveness, and facing his trauma were the keys to living an authentic life—and finally knowing what it feels like to be loved.

Corey Nguyen definitely doesn't need antidepressants. For a girl who went through a tragedy last year, everything seems to be coming together for Corey. She should be happy and carefree with that weight off her shoulders!
So why does she always feel like the world is about to end?
In this final installment of Corey's story, she must face up to the fact that stories don't end when you get the guy (or girl) and promise to live happily ever after. After a summer living in a bubble with her new beau, Corey discovers that the world has kept turning for everyone else. The people around her are moving forward without her and if she doesn't catch up quickly, she's going to risk losing everything -- her friends, her relationship, or even somebody's life.
