Other colorful characters include ladies’ man Bruno (Steve Schirripa), curmudgeonly O’Neill (Gerard Doyle), and gift shop owner Pearl, played to perfection by June Squibb. Casting nonagenarians Squibb and Eden was a conscious decision to highlight that vitality can and does thrive later in life.
