Summary

Struggling LA writer Bob Brookmont sees his dream come true when his beloved screenplay finally gets funded, just when his dad falls ill back in Hadley, his hometown. Bob must choose between living out his filmmaking dream in LA or going home to be with his father. Is it possible for Bob to do both? With his producing partner, Jason Gold, they decide to shoot their indie film on location. But when the disgruntled LA crew starts to mutiny, Bob must enlist the help of his Hadley friends to save the film.
