Sinopsis

The Red Dragon is a trading vessel fallen far from its former glory, but taking command of it will forever change the life of Captain Alyn Evans. The challenges of bringing the Red Dragon back from the brink of being scrapped are nothing compared to the challenges brought by falling for Jarvez Kashari, the ship's chief trader and company rep.
This box set includes the three books following Alyn and Jarvez from first meeting to choosing a new future together, as well as the spin-off about the ex who considers Alyn the one who got away, but will find his own happiness elsewhere.
Contains the stories:

The Company Man: Jarvez Kashari travels light, sacrificing relationships for ambition. Alyn's out to establish himself as a company captain. Falling in love was not part of either man's plans.

Too Good a Man: Alyn and Jarvez's relationship is evolving, but thanks to Alyn's principles it will face tests that could destroy it. To get his lover back Jarvez will tell any lie and burn any bridge he has to.

Tempting the Stars: Marriage should be a happy ending, but for Alyn and Jarvez it's only the start of a new set of problems as grief and guilt stir deeply buried desires in Jarvez. Will wedded bliss prove to be a myth?

The Champion's Secret: A closeted Modern Gladiator and an idealistic lawyer think they're only killing time in bed during the long trips between tour dates, until they're forced into the glare of the media spotlight.

A life of set routine is the norm for Raymond Smith. Now in his mid-thirties, a fleeting wartime romance far behind him, he is an exemplary clerk at a London insurance firm where he's perceived as dry and conventional.
But Raymond has a secret. Every month or so, he visits Charlie's, one of the more understated bars in Soho's flowering gay scene in the 1930s. There, he seeks relief with strangers to get him through the next few weeks.
On one of these visits, he encounters suave David Carstairs, a well-travelled linguist with the Foreign Office. Rather than a brief encounter, David offers him friendship and even affection. Despite Raymond's misgivings, the two men, with their contrasting backgrounds and experiences, start to form a bond in the spring of 1936 as Europe inexorably begins to march towards war.
Will Raymond fearfully reject this chance of happiness? Or can he unbend enough to allow David into his heart and life?

In a series of genre-blending essays read by the author, Entwined tells the story of Alex Alberto’s decade-long polyamorous journey toward a new kind of family.
In these essays, Alex attempts to build two committed relationships at once when no one involved has done this before; develops a powerful bond with the woman their partner loves; sits through a tense Thanksgiving Dinner with religious in-laws; questions the need for rules and hierarchy in their relationships; experiences the intensity of a triad; wrestles with the fragility baked into the nuclear family after their father’s stroke; and explores their queerness and gender identity in English, in New York, and struggles to reconcile their newfound self in their native French-Canadian language and culture.
Entwined explores the fuzzy lines between friendship, romance, and family with various essay forms, including a play, an advice column, and a love letter. Yes, there are challenges, but rather than wallowing in the throes of jealousy, this memoir celebrates the hard work of creating a love life that resists conventional narratives.

Simone, a female-identifying android, is part of a scientific team sent ahead of the first colony to return to Earth, which is finally habitable again after centuries of radiation recovery. She mostly finds her human crewmates irritating, and the most irritating by far is Dr. Lucy Zhong, who slowly becomes Simone's best friend, more important to her than anyone else has ever been.
When Lucy is fatally injured, she kisses Simone during her last moments of consciousness. Only then does Simone realize they may be more than friends. To save Lucy, Simone places her in the last functioning cryo-pod, even though this means sacrificing another crewmember. Simone's programming should not permit that kind of choice, but if this is a malfunction, Simone doesn't care as long as it saves Lucy.
When the colony ship arrives, Lucy is revived, and discovers it's her turn to play rescuer, as Simone has been slated for deactivation. Does the android's "malfunction" mean she returns Lucy's feelings? If Lucy can't save her beloved Simone, she'll never find out.
