Summary

It takes time and work to build a good marriage. You most likely liked your husband from the moment you met him. You grew closer as you spent more time together. Your feelings for each other grew stronger, and before you knew it, you were in love. A marriage is held together by love, and romance is the glue that ties it together.

Keep in mind that you get what you give. When Sir Isaac Newton formalized the law of physics, which states that every action causes an equal and opposite response, he grasped the core of natural equilibrium. Cause and effect: for every positive, there is a negative—you will eventually get what you give.

This is true in a happy marriage: if you want your husband to be "Mr. Right," you must be "Mrs. Right." Allow yourself to find the qualities you want in a husband in your own life.

A successful marriage requires a lot of romance. Romance is frequently associated with sex; nevertheless, romance is much more than a sexual bond. Romance creates such a strong bond that even if sex isn't feasible for whatever reason, love continues to grow. Sex is an important aspect of a good marriage, but it is not the major event. Romantic affection creates the required climate for a good marriage.

"How can I romance my husband?" many of you may wonder. The answer is based on how you want to be romanced. Here are seven easy methods to express your husband genuine affection and unconditional love—remember, you will eventually receive what you sow.

God loves families and shows his nature through the relationship that should exist between parents and children. There is a divine relationship between God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Home is the first place that children will learn discipline and self-development. A strong Christian faith should also start in the home. Principles of honesty, respect, and loyalty are vital for positive growth and development. We should train up our children in the fear of God and always teach them the values, commandments, and principles laid down in the bible that we need to follow. Disciplined children, mean a disciplined society, and satan is against this.
Teach your children, and show them the way to live, begin and end with Christ. Speak sweet words of life that will touch their hearts, minds, souls, and spirits. Build a firm foundation and plant seeds of faith that cannot be easily uprooted. Let your words be powerful, strong, and mighty so that they can last. Start now, now when they are young and strong, and cement them into their hearts and minds.

When feeling spiritually lost in our contemporary world, many seek a deeper connection to their faith. Gene Maynard's book, "Trekking," offers a compelling journey into ancient Christian spirituality to rediscover transformative practices and rhythms that have defined the Christian faith.
Maynard takes readers along the El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, demonstrating how contemplative Christian practices can renew one's inner life and influence the surrounding culture. In the initial sections of the book, readers explore powerful spiritual practices that have historically healed the deep wounds, losses, sins, and rejections that mark our interior selves. These practices include lectio divina, contemplation, and the Jesus Prayer, inviting individuals to embark on a path toward a deeper connection with Jesus.
As readers engage with these practices, they begin to experience a spiritual awakening, leading to a more profound relationship with their faith. In the book's final section, Maynard outlines exterior practices like simplicity, community, joy, and living for others. These practices hold the potential to positively impact one's community and the world at a time when positive change is essential.
Throughout "Trekking," Maynard shares personal experiences of spiritual awakening and weaves in stories from ancient pilgrims who also sought a deeper connection with Jesus. This combination of ancient wisdom and modern encounters with God provides readers with a roadmap for their spiritual growth and transformation.
In conclusion, "Trekking" is a book that aims to guide individuals who feel spiritually lost in today's world. By immersing themselves in contemplative Christian practices and connecting with the teachings of Gene Maynard, readers can find inner peace, a deeper connection with their faith, and a means to contribute to a better community and world. This book offers a way forward for those seeking spiritual renewal.
