Muick is the Queen’s loyal corgi. Loving, attentive, but with an occasional tendency to nip ankles.
But Muick can’t find his Queen. The courtiers won’t let him into the bedroom. The corgi handlers won’t explain what is happening. Why are all the family members suddenly here? Muick gives his own account of events and travels through his grief from Scotland to the funeral as he seeks to make sense of his loss and find a future beyond.
This heartfelt tribute is perfect for pet lovers and admirers of Britain’s late beloved Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

All families have secrets. Some protect. Others destroy.
Three sisters. A last wish from their dying mother. Can they forgive her?
Brenda Smith shouldn’t feel lucky – she’s only got months to live, if that. But knowing this means she’s got one final chance to make peace with the grown-up daughters she’s not seen since she did something terrible decades back.
Emily, her eldest daughter, moved on. She’s got a good job, nice family and a daughter of her own on the cusp of adulthood. Appalled by how her own mother tore the family apart, she could never do the same – or could she?
Teresa, the middle child, learnt the hard way that she could only rely on herself – and if she wanted nice things, she’d have to go out and get them, by any means possible. She’s not proud of some of her choices – and it looks like it’s time for her to pay the price.
And Shannon, the youngest? No one’s been able to reach her for years. She left home to outrun her pain but some things can never be escaped, only confronted.
Will facing the truth set them free – or shatter even more lives?
The novel weaves together the sisters life stories into a suspenseful narrative that reads like a series of thrillers. As they grapple with the truth and the potential legal consequences of their actions, the tension mounts, making for a thrilling read.
For fans of Kerry Kaya (Revenge), Alex Kane (The Angels), Gillian Godden (The Street), Heather Burnside (Vengeance), and Mandasue Heller (Running Scared).

Maharaja: The Tyrant of Udaipur is a gripping tale of power, vengeance, and redemption set in the opulent yet tumultuous lands of 19th-century India. The story follows Vikram, a young prince whose life is shattered when an enemy general, Shivendra, conquers his home, kills his family, and leaves him to endure a harrowing childhood of grief and survival. As he grows into a formidable warrior, Vikram reclaims Udaipur and declares himself Maharaja, but the boy who once sought justice transforms into a tyrant consumed by power, ruling the lands he conquers with an iron fist and unparalleled cruelty.
Standing in opposition to Vikram’s tyranny is Aryan, the noble prince of Kaladurg, who rises to unite the fractured kingdoms against the oppressive reign of Udaipur’s ruler. Aryan’s journey is marked by personal loss, unyielding resolve, and the unwavering support of his trusted allies: Dev, the fearless warrior; Meera, the spiritually gifted priestess; and Avani, the brave tracker whose sacrifice strengthens Aryan’s cause. Together, they challenge Vikram’s empire, facing devastating defeats but persevering in their quest for freedom.
The climactic confrontation between Aryan and Vikram culminates in an epic battle where Aryan wields the divine blade prophesied to pierce Vikram’s invincibility. Vikram meets his end at Aryan’s hands, but Aryan, demonstrating his just nature, spares Vikram’s wife Aaradhya and their children, sending them to live peacefully in exile. Vikram’s reign of terror ends, and Aryan unites the lands of Marwar, Malwa, Gujarat, Udaipur, and Kaladurg under a single banner of justice and hope.
The story concludes with Aryan assuming the mantle of Maharaja, dedicating himself to rebuilding the lands and healing the wounds inflicted by decades of war. With unity restored and peace prevailing, Aryan ushers in a new era where compassion and justice reign supreme, leaving behind a legacy that will inspire generations to come.
