Summary

We delve into The Function of Reason(In English, 2023 Revision).Prologue.Whitehead (1861-1947) is a philosopher from England. He asserts that reason is an impulse toward empty concreteness. That impulse is not empty. It is a fundamental force that can give birth to something. This impulse of mind is appetition, which is an inherent agent of transcendental goals. Therefore, empty concreteness is embodied as material enjoyment. Whitehead\'s reason cannot exist without appetition. Jeong Yi-cheon of the Northern Song Dynasty, who developed Neo-Confucianism, also believed that the main body cannot be separated from the phenomenon. Whitehead advocates Plato, stating that all of Western philosophy is just a footnote to Plato\'s philosophy. However, he overcomes Plato by creating his own organic philosophy. Nietzsche, Marx, and Freud are also critics of the Platonic system. Plato\'s original sin is his ideology that isolates humans from the world and alienates them for 2000 years. Idea corresponds to all phenomena in a monolithic and organic manner. Whitehead can be seen as a Copernican Übermensch. ‘The Function of Reason’ is a lecture given at Princeton University in 1929. This book provides an easy and condensed summary of a long and difficult text.

Under the Nazis, conventional science and a range of fringes sciences were legitimate areas for research and development. Unorthodox ideas and projects that were too outrageous for other governments received funding. During the last six months of the war, it seemed obvious the Germans had been crushingly defeated, but in spite of the military situation, Hitler continued to believe that victory would be achieved. He repeatedly told his advisors and inner circle that Germany possessed Wunderwaffen - miracle weapons - that would turn the tide and give the Germans victory.

The biggest challenge for authors is transitioning from being a writer to being an author, which are two totally different occupations. Many authors have the mindset that once they are published, their publisher handles all marketing and the sales come in like magic. In today's world, that is not reality, no matter how you are published.

Written by publisher and author, Terri Ann Leidich, and author marketing coach and support, Julie Bromley, this book simplifies marketing by taking the approach of Get Ready, Get Set, Succeed, putting marketing tasks into a logical order of what needs to be done and when so authors don't have to figure that out for themselves

This is a compilation of 3 different titles, which are about the following topics:
1: The Greek general and king, Alexander the Great, is a name you might have heard before. Although his historical journey varies greatly from the stories and rumors about him, he did accomplish many victories in Asia and Europe in his conquest to rule the world.
In this guide, we will go over his appearance, his character, his many battles, his clever military strategies, and the regions he conquered. His vast empire stretched farther than much else had before his time. But eventually, it became divided, and the throne was being fought over. This was one of the things that shows us how much of a difference he made as a ruler in his empire.
2: Undoubtedly, Napoleon, the French revolutionist and emperor has left his mark on European history. His vast empire stretched all over the continent, his unique image and posture have been emulated by many, and his infamous defeat in Russia was a precursor of the defeat Hitler experienced for similar reasons.
When we take a time machine to the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century, how can we better understand the culture and ideas of those times? How did someone from the relatively tiny island of Corsica become such an iconic figure in history?
3: William the First, who was also called William the Conqueror and in some cases William the Bastard, was the first Norman emperor of England, ruling from 1066 till his death in 1087. Around this time, many wars and battles were waged over the kingdom and distribution of territories in Europe. France, the Anglo-Saxons, and Scandinavian troops were engaged in raids, struggles, and battles to claim their lands and gains.

This book contains the following three titles:
ADHD: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It is characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that can interfere with daily functioning. While ADHD is most commonly diagnosed in childhood, it often continues into adolescence and adulthood, affecting individuals across various stages of life. Despite its prevalence, ADHD remains misunderstood by many, leading to misconceptions and challenges for those living with it.
Asperger's Syndrome: Neurodiversity is the concept that neurological differences, including those seen in Asperger’s Syndrome, are a natural variation of human diversity. Instead of viewing these differences as deficits or disorders, neurodiversity encourages us to appreciate the value these variations bring to society. It emphasizes that individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome and other neurodivergent conditions offer unique perspectives, skills, and talents that are often overlooked or underappreciated in traditional settings.
Autism: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex and diverse condition that affects how individuals perceive, interact with, and experience the world. The term "spectrum" reflects the wide range of abilities, challenges, and unique perspectives of people with autism, making each person’s experience of ASD distinct. This book explores the spectrum of autism, delving into its traits, challenges, and remarkable strengths, as well as examining the importance of creating inclusive environments in which neurodiverse individuals can thrive.
