Sinossi

Prologue.Dutch historian Johan Huizinga (1872-1945) released \"The Autumn of the Middle Ages\" in 1919, offering profound insights into the medieval era and shedding light on its dark times. With a deep understanding of language, Huizinga becomes captivated by play and devotes himself to the study of games within the course of history. The medieval period is a beautiful sunset that occurs as darkness descends, symbolized by sunsets and moonlight. Culture emerges from play as a bud of the Renaissance.  The ideal life rooted in the era of the red dusk consists of three paths. Firstly, it involves escaping from the mundane world, denying worldly pleasures absolutely.Secondly, it involves striving to change the world, ardently desiring a transformed society.Thirdly, it involves filling life with fantasy, living life as a game.

Christians need to pause once in a while to get their bearings. For perspective on our own times and how we got here, it helps to listen to wise guides from other eras. In An Infinite Fountain of Light, the renowned American historian George Marsden illuminates the landscape with wisdom from one such mentor: Jonathan Edwards.
Drawing on his deep expertise on Edwards and American culture, Marsden explains where Edwards stood within his historical context and sets forth key points of his complex thought. By also considering Benjamin Franklin and George Whitefield, two of Edwards's most influential contemporaries, Marsden unpacks the competing cultural and religious impulses that have shaped our times. In contrast, Edwards offered us an exhilarating view of the centrality of God's beauty and love. Christians' love for God, he taught, can be the guiding love of our lives, opening us to transformative joy and orienting all our lesser loves.
"There is an infinite fullness of all possible good in God, a fullness of every perfection, of all excellency and beauty, and of infinite happiness," wrote Edwards. "This infinite fountain of light should, diffusing its excellent fullness, pour forth light all around."
With Marsden's guidance, readers will discover how Edwards's insights can renew our own vision of the divine, of creation, and of ourselves.

In this lecture Robert Anton Wilson speaks of how we think we all know who we are. You are living in your own reality that you are creating. Everybody has a vision of themselves that they have created. Where in relationships the other person has an entirely different vision of you are as a person. Strangers see you completely different from how you view yourself. Which is the real you? Certainly not the you that you know. Our knowledge of ourselves is usually tremendously delusional and most people don't actually know the real them.

Are you ready to uncover the truth behind the most disturbing global crises of our time? "Viral Deception: Unveiling COVID's Hidden Agenda" takes you on a riveting journey that may forever change your perception of the pandemic and the powers orchestrating it. Witness how a seemingly natural epidemic could be the smoke screen of this century, artfully crafted and strategically unleashed.
Explore the historic lineage of biological weaponry and draw chilling connections from the past directly into the chambers of Wuhan's secret laboratory. Navigate through the tangled web of global health governance and the compromised allegiances that may have allowed a synthetic virus to emerge from the shadows.
Feel the tension rise as you piece together the political strategy and uncover the alarming blueprint of COVID-19. Learn how suspiciously it mirrors the constructs of other man-made plagues and how bioweapons are not just the relics of the Cold War but active pawns in a game of contemporary Global Domination. As you progress, a harrowing pattern emerges, painting the media, tech giants, and government firewalls as complicit in a cover-up designed to obscure the greatest deception ever waged on humanity.
Brace for a critical analysis, drawing correlations between vaccine development and the activation of a tracking framework of bio-surveillance systems that threaten to reshape the very notion of privacy and personal autonomy.
"Viral Deception" is not just a book; it's a movement towards unmasking the illusion and empowering readers with the knowledge to discern truth from orchestrated reality. If you dare to confront the narrative that has been fed to the masses, this book promises to lead you towards a path of enlightenment, resilience, and, ultimately, the reclamation of the truth.

Pioneers of France in the New World

    Jr. Francis Parkman

Parkman has been hailed as one of America's first great historians and as a master of narrative history. Numerous translations have spread the books around the world. The American writer and literary critic Edmund Wilson (1895-1972) in his book O Canada (1965), described Parkman’s France and England in North America in these terms: The clarity, the momentum and the color of the first volumes of Parkman’s narrative are among the most brilliant achievements of the writing of history as an art.

Parkman's biases, particularly his attitudes about nationality, race, and especially Native Americans, has generated criticism. The Canadian historian W. J. Eccles harshly criticized what he perceived as Parkman's bias against France and Roman Catholic policies, as well as what he considered Parkman's misuse of French language sources. However, Parkman's most severe detractor was the American historian Francis Jennings, an outspoken and controversial critic of the European colonization of North America, who went so far as to characterize Parkman's work as "fiction" and Parkman himself as a "liar".

Unlike Jennings and Eccles, many modern historians have found much to praise in Parkman's work even while recognizing his limitations. Calling Jennings' critique "vitriolic and unfair," the historian Robert S. Allen has said that Parkman's history of France and England in North America "remains a rich mixture of history and literature which few contemporary scholars can hope to emulate". The historian Michael N. McConnell, while acknowledging the historical errors and racial prejudice in Parkman's book The Conspiracy of Pontiac, has said: "...it would be easy to dismiss Pontiac as a curious perhaps embarrassing artifact of another time and place. Yet Parkman's work represents a pioneering effort; in several ways he anticipated the kind of frontier history now taken for granted...." Parkman's masterful and evocative use of language remains his most enduring and instructive legacy.

This is Vol 1 of Parkman's series "France and England in North America."
