    Introduction to ADHD in Women
Though ADHD is more commonly diagnosed in boys and men, it affects girls and women as well. A recent study found that girls with ADHD are more likely to have anxiety and mood disorders, as well as problems with social interactions. They are also more likely to have lower self-esteem and problems with body image.
There is still a lot we don't know about how ADHD affects women and girls. In particular, we need more research on how best to treat the unique symptoms that affect them. However, there are some treatments that have been shown to be effective for both genders. One such treatment is mindfulness meditation.Treatment for ADHD in women
While medication may be the most talked about treatment for ADHD, there are other options that can be helpful. Treatment for ADHD in women often includes therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and/or mindfulness meditation. In a landmark study at the UCLA in 2007, 24 adults with ADHD took part in an 8 week programme of regular guided meditations. Participants reported improvements in their anxiety and depressive symptoms along with improvements in ADHD symptoms and in test performance on tasks measuring attention and cognitive inhibition.
My hope is that through regularly listening to the guided meditations in this audiobook, you can also benefit from an improvement in your symptoms.Guided meditation book for ADHD and women
There are 4 meditations in this audiobook, which I hope will help you relax, focus and live a happier life. The topics are selected to be a cross section of relaxation, and mindfulness practice, that, through regular practice and usage, could help you, step by step, manage your ADHD.

    The Guardians Earth Humans and...

Who are the Guardians that monitor and guide all sentient beings and civilizations in this galaxy? Why was planet Earth selected as a special zone of experience for souls that had incarnated elsewhere in our galaxy? What is the Earth experiment, and why are there so many different human races on planet Earth? What is the ultimate purpose of incarnation on Earth? These and many other questions are addressed in this book.
In The Guardians, Earth Humans and Ascension, Kwame Adapa develops the story about the Guardians, their role in this galaxy, within our solar system and here on Earth that was first introduced his book The Akan, Other Africans & The Sirius Star System. This sequel goes into far greater detail about the Guardians and the Sirian-Guardians in particular, their role on Earth and their connections with the Akan and many other people in Africa, the Americas and Asia.
A significant part of the story includes connections between extraterrestrial groups and the major human groups across the world. This book also develops the notion that the Earth human prototype offers the potential for spiritual ascension for all beings incarnated on other planets prior to coming to Earth in order to transcend beyond polarity. Kwame discusses spiritual ascension as a gift from the guardians, and he introduces a number of spiritual paradigms and traditions on Earth that offer tools for developing a spiritual vehicle known as the immortal body, which has also been called the light body or the rainbow body.

Across twenty years of friendship, Jenny Kelly and Mairéad Ronan have experienced single life, marriages, divorce, motherhood, career dilemmas, grief, diets, dodgy hairstyles, stress, ageing, bad times and good times too.
Here, along with their well-earned wisdom about the serious (and sometimes funny) business of life, they share their thoughts on how to navigate grown-up friendships, what it means to be in a relationship, and how to stop worrying about having it all and start figuring out what it is you actually want!
You'll also discover essential truths, like why you will never have Pocahontas hair (and why that's okay), why there's no greater joy than a deep clean with your favourite spray mop (just Jenny?), and how staring at trees can make you happier than owning a Mulberry handbag.
What We Know Now doesn't claim to solve all your problems, but it will provide good company, give you a laugh, and help you feel less alone through the unavoidable ups and downs of life.
