The Balkan crime cartel has been growing more powerful and they want to assassinate Don Gatos as part of a move to increase their reach in Europe.  They send a team to Cannes.There is concern that the Balkan cartel may kidnap Lollie to pressurise Don Gatos. The French police assign Maddie to protect Lollie. She is required to work undercover as an actress.Brayden asks Paddy, an Irish assassin, to use his skills to protect Don Gatos.Howlett, consiglieri to Brayden, suspects that Brayden may be plotting a double cross so as to align with the Balkan cartel. But he has been left out of the loop and now fears for his own safety.There is romance in the air.
