Summary
Cat shifter Sierra runs away from the people who have done nothing but wronged her and used her body for their own gain. Again. According to Karlos, the man used to come once a month and only to conduct business. When he did attend performances, it was as if someone had coarced him to go and he would retaliate by getting the best seat in the house and proceeding to use said seat to conduct business meetings, as if the performance weren't worth his time. Karlos spoke of the matter as if she had corrupted the man somehow, as if she was the sole reason he had decided to forgo his ways and turned to the dark side... as if his business was not terrible to begin with. He dealt with exchange of sensitive information, mainly the acquisition and dispersal of them in a manner that would ruin not just individual lives of livelihoods, but entire countries. Jackdale was not a good man and he had been obsessed with her ever since he laid eyes on her. That was how Sierra ended up in her bed that evening, blindfolded as she knelt on her elbows and knees, a silk scarf binding her wrists and something called a spreader bar holding her ankles apart by at least two feet.
