The last thing she expects is for her family to sell her off to the highest bidder.

…

Tangled in Lies & Feathers

Kali is excited to fly out to a foreign land to attend her sister's wedding. She doesn't travel often due to her massive wings that make it impossible for her to hide what she is. She is looking forward to helping her with the wedding preparations, so she's horrified to find on arrival that Raine is having second thoughts about marrying at all and has her eyes set on someone else.

…

The Werewolf, The Mage, & The Cursed Town

Anna believes herself to be a powerful mage until she is stuck in a cursed town where people are attacking each other for no reason. She is supposed to break the curse, but she can neither identify nor locate the spell and castor. Alpha Thorne is supposed to guide her, but he is a distraction, looking at her the way he does and promising her his heart the first time they meet.

~~~~~ Excerpt ~~~~~
"Come with me now, kit," he says with steel in his voice, extending his hand towards her. He towers over the rest of the humans.
Bradley looks like he means to say something. Apologize and claim it's not his fault, probably, but he does the right thing by saying nothing at all.
She pouts and slides her fingers into his hand, bending her head low and mewling a soft, "I'm sorry."
She doesn't really know who he is and probably shouldn't be following him as he guides her out of the room, but there's just something about him that reminds her so much of Mr. Wolf that she can't imagine she's doing something wrong by taking his hand.
He has very warm hands and strong fingers that wrap around her much smaller fingers tightly.
"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to," he says, tugging her out of the room. "You've done a very irresponsible thing, kit," he says.
"My name isn't kit. It's Ginger," she says and then immediately regrets saying anything at all when he stops walking and turns to her with his full and undivided attention. She is only able to meet his gaze for several seconds, losing herself in the dark of his pupils before turning her gaze to the ground once more. He is wearing sports shoes, though it's black to hide the fact that they aren't loafers.
She whimpers when he pinches her chin between his forefinger and thumb, forcing her face up so she has no choice but to look him in the face as he chastises her. "Until you learn some manners, I will call you what you are, kitten," he says and sighs when he catches tears forming in her eyes. He looks skywards and mutters something in a foreign language. "Look at you. You're a mess," he says, reaching into his pocket and retrieving a napkin that he uses to wipe her cheek and lips. The napkin smells like the perfume he's wearing, a faint slightly caramel scent. "You shouldn't let strangers take you wherever they want. Didn't Theodore tell you about this?" he says.
    Nature
    Ralph Waldo Emerson
    Emerson's Nature is not just an essay—it's a rebellion against confinement, an argument against secondhand wisdom. He strips away artifice, forcing us to confront the raw, untamed presence of the world. To walk through the woods, he suggests, is to be undressed of civilization, to shed the weight of customs, history, and ego. Nature demands no commentary, no theory—it simply is.
    This is not the sentimental nature of poets, nor the docile landscape of painters. Emerson's nature is unsettling, absolute. It dwarfs human concerns, shames our institutions, and reduces grandeur to irrelevance. It teaches, but never speaks. It heals, but never consoles. It is, above all, free—and it mocks those who try to own or define it.
    He challenges us: why do we live in exile from the elemental? Why do we build palaces only to stare longingly at the horizon? The stars, the trees, the shifting light—they whisper something we've forgotten. To listen is not just to understand nature, but to remember who we were before we forgot to look.
    The Ramayanam, an itihasa of the highest order, is considered adi kavya, the first poem to have been composed. Written by Valm ki during Rama's time, and ratified by him, this timeless epic has been treated with utmost care by all acaryas in their famed commentaries. Since the advent of human civilization, it has inspired many poets and dramatists across the subcontinent and has been transcreated in almost all Bharat ya languages. Multiple layers of philosophy and theology are an embellishment to this classic. Its influence on Bharat ya music, dance, sculpture and textiles is unfathomable.
    In this two-volume presentation, noted Vedic scholar Dushyanth Sridhar retells the Ramayanam as a conversation between Valmki and Narada. Infused with a dash of creativity that is accepted even by traditional scholars, and drawing upon interesting details from renowned and lesser-known works, this timeless epic has been recreated in a never-before manner. Furthermore, expressive sketches by eminent artist Keshav, and drawings of rare artefacts by Upasana add great value to this edition, making it the most trusted rendering of the Ramayanam for readers across all ages.
