Summary

Pishon Forgotten River explores the enduring mystery of the Pishon River, one of the four rivers described in Genesis as flowing from the Garden of Eden, but now lost to history. This quest delves into ancient geography, biblical narratives, and the origins of civilization. The book examines the biblical account, analyzing the Hebrew text and interpretations by theologians and scholars. It also surveys theories proposing locations from Africa to Arabia, evaluating evidence based on ancient trade routes and the distribution of gold, as Havilah was known for its gold. The book progresses by establishing a biblical foundation, analyzing the Pishon's description as winding through Havilah. Chapters systematically examine major location theories, incorporating geological, archaeological, and linguistic evidence. This approach integrates findings from diverse fields, aiming to engage both academic researchers and general readers interested in biblical studies, ancient history, and geographical mysteries. Identifying the Pishon could illuminate the historical context of the Garden of Eden and ancient river systems.

The Prince of Evolution is the evolutionary reframing of one of the most important and
controversial political texts in history. It reframes Machiavelli’s The Prince as a text expressing a revolutionary political theory that expresses an evolutionary ‘best practice’ framework for political competition.

By applying the two patterns of evolution, natural and artificial, discovered by Charles Darwin and David R. Wood. In doing so it reveals new insights and value to be derived from Machiavelli’s original text. Most importantly, by providing an evolutionary framework for every human
relationship that has ever existed, and reframes Machiavelli, the man, to be just as human as you or I.

The Prince of Evolution is a groundbreaking work that will disrupt the entire field of political
science. And the way we all look at organizations, communities, and ourselves.

The experiments conducted during World War II provide some of the most extreme examples of human rights and ethics breaches the world has so far seen. There is no benefit in considering the Nazi experiments as “other” or irrelevant. The greatest good that can come from these atrocities is the lessons they have to teach about what plays into and creates a hostile research environment. Before the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party, Germany was at the forefront of medical research and ethics. The rise of the National Socialist movement led to a moral decline in physicians’ perception of their professional identity. This was reinforced by concepts like “lives not worth living,” which were often repeated in Nazi propaganda and played a central role in justifying the atrocities committed under the Nazi regime. The Nazi era in general, and the behavior of Nazi doctors in particular, show that despite a general historical progression toward greater humanity, egregious regressions and moral backsliding have occurred.

Homeschooling your children can be a compelling experience that will shape them in powerful and lasting ways. It’s a choice that allows you to create a learning environment where your children feel safe, respected, encouraged, and valued. It also allows them to explore their interests more deeply while enabling you to introduce them to subjects of your choosing and safeguard them from the biases of the public school system.
They will reliably receive the one-on-one attention they deserve, which means they’ll never feel left behind or too far ahead (and aimless or bored as a result).
With scheduling flexibility comes the freedom to take your kids on vacations where and when you want to, as well as ensure they get the quantity and quality of sleep essential to healthy development, energy levels, and overall well-being.
For these reasons (and even more not covered in this book), I can confidently say that homeschooling is a vastly superior option for most people.
If you’re undecided about the best decision for your family, know that you want to homeschool but are feeling intimidated, or want to learn more about the benefits of the homeschooling lifestyle, I wholeheartedly encourage you to keep learning and researching.
Remember that when it comes to homeschooling, what’s right for your family might not be for another… the lessons, topics, schedule, and style are yours to choose; they can be tailored to meet the needs, goals, and beliefs of your beautifully unique family.

The underground rock wall in Rockwall, Texas has fascinated me for years.
I’ve read everything I could online about it. Recently I moved from Los Angeles to Denton, Texas which is only about an hour drive from Rockwall. So I went there and spent an hour with the Rockwall County Museum Curator and learned a lot more about the structure.
Was also able to examine and take pictures of the wall section moved from the actual wall and reconstructed outside the museum.
In this book I’ve related the history of the wall’s discovery, excavations, interesting items and structures found on or near the wall, and information about possible giants who might have built it.
There are a lot of unanswered questions about this structure which still need to be learned. Those questions are listed near the end of this book.
