Summary

With Olivia’s acceptance into the Florence Royal Academy for Girls, an exciting new chapter in her life is about to unfold. While school life promises new friends and new experiences for Olivia, it looks like it’s also going to drag her daddy out into public life. But an even greater challenge awaits him than his first forays into human society: once Olivia starts school, he won’t be able to see her for three whole months! As Olivia faces the many challenges of a brand new life at school, her father must overcome his first experience of loneliness in all his millenia. Three months is an awfully long time to wait, but surely an ancient elder dragon can handle it...right?

A celebration of the life of the acclaimed comic book storyteller through his work as well as interviews with fellow creators.

Will Eisner (1917–2005) is universally considered the master of comics storytelling, best known for The Spirit, his iconic newspaper comic strip, and A Contract With God, the first significant graphic novel. This seminal work from 1978 ushered in a new era of personal stories in comics form that touched every adult topic from mortality to religion and sexuality, forever changing the way writers and artists approached comics storytelling. Noted historian Paul Levitz celebrates Eisner by showcasing his most famous work alongside unpublished and rare materials from the family archives. Also included are original interviews with creators such as Jules Feiffer, Art Spiegelman, Scott McCloud, Jeff Smith, Denis Kitchen, and Neil Gaiman—all of whom knew Eisner and were inspired by his work to create their own graphic novels for a new generation of readers.

NOTE: The cover is a high-quality photographic reproduction of Eisner's original art. The design intentionally reveals tape and other stray markings that are part of the artist's process and reflect the age of the artifact that was photographed.

Will this killer scare him to death or kill him?
Lance Alexander Sr sat singing along with his car radio as he waited to pick up his son Jr. He was totally distracted by the music. He didn't see the man jump in his car til it was too late. "What are you doing in my car," said Lance noticing him.
    "Drive!" said the stranger coldly.
"I'm waiting for my son hit the road, Jack!" said Lance he hadn't time for this guy.
"Forget him and drive," said the stranger pulling a gun on Lance.
"You don't want to do this mate!" warned Lance knowingly.
"do you think you're a magician?" asked the carjacker.
"I'm worse!" said Lance smiling darkly as he stared the car and sped off. Lance was worse than a magician they were heroes he was wanted by the police as a serial killer.
His son saw his car speed away.
"Okay I'll take myself home then!" said Jr shortly and disappeared into thin air teleporting home.
Meanwhile, in the car, the carjacker was terrified thinking he chose the wrong car to carjack. The owner was insane and had some sort of a death wish he was all over the road like a madman and had a devil-may-care attitude with the carjacker.
"Let me out of here? I'll not hurt you if you let me go," pleaded the carjacker who was petrified.
"You said you wanted me to drive," said Lance in a mock hurt tone as he locked the doors and drove on.
