Not least of which was that with his mother in the awkward position of bending over to keep her end of the bookcase from scraping the steps or digging big nasty holes in the walls, John was obliged to look straight down her shirt and into her cleavage. Are you going to live in the dorms again next year?” John set the bookcase down with a grunt of relief. Under the guise of making sure it was flush against the wall, he ducked around a corner and made a clandestine adjustment in his slacks. It provided a little relief, at least. He just hoped the evidence would subside.
