Summary

Drawing the short straw is bad luck ... isn't it?
A treaty between three warring realms calls for a mass wedding ceremony amongst their eligible princes and princesses to solidify the peace. But since the number of males and females differ, one of the marriages must be between two of the princes.
Prince Obren of Canna draws the short straw, sealing his fate, and Prince Dukan of Butari volunteers to be the other half of the nontraditional marriage. The two princes fought nobly in the years-long war and are willing to do whatever it takes to finalize the treaty, ending the conflict that took the lives of their loved ones ... Obren's brother and Dukan's lover.
Each harbors a dark secret, and King Rogan of Canna has long nurtured a deep hatred of Obren, blaming him for bringing home the deadly virus responsible for the untimely death of his much-adored wife. Obren and Dukan can't deny their chemistry, but can they overcome the ugly truths complicating their path to a friendly, respectful, and -- dare they hope -- loving relationship? Will King Rogan stop at nothing to dash Obren's chance at happiness, or does that short straw represent good luck, after all?

Deep inside the earth lies a special place called Hell. The devils who work there have no corporeal existence, few memories, and count the passing time in aeons.

It's three days before the New Year, a new millennium even, when Number Three gets stuck with the assignment to conquer the soul of a fallen angel, an angel dismissed from Heavenly services who now lives as a mortal among humans.

Number Three, in a brand-new male body, is surprised to find the fallen angel is no other than his old nemesis, Number Sixteen. To make matters even more fantastic, the angel asks for Three's help in rescuing his ice cream parlour.

But while doing so, Number Three encounters strange new sensations, among them a genuine desire to actually help Angel and find out why he fell from Heaven. Angel is a very distracting assignment, and Three's emotions as well as his human body respond to the closeness between them. When it's time to wrap up his task, will Three be able to return to Hell and put Angel behind him?

To the public, Harper Miller is nothing more than a mild mannered, socially awkward English professor with a slight stutter and some control issues. She knows her public persona isn't glamorous, but she doesn't care if people see her as milquetoast. She prefers it that way because it means no one would ever suspect her secret.
Harper never intended to run a phone sex line long term. It was meant to help her pay off her student loans before landing a job with a decent paycheck. Of course, Harper never intended to fall for a client either. After talking to a caller that goes by Em for six months, Harper can admit she's thoroughly smitten, even though her mystery woman may not be who she seems.
What happens when Em's true identity is discovered? Will Harper be able to look past old grievances for a shot at true love?

There is still magic to be found. Even in the bleakest of places.
Hank Goodenough has spent his entire life in the smoggy streets of London trying to keep his head down and not to get noticed. Not an easy feat when you're the tallest one in the room and have a brass funnel protruding from your head. When he finds himself laid off work once again, his dad wants to drag him away on a crazy quest. Before he can figure out how to get out of it, he finds himself on a steam-driven airship in search of Odin, the old Norse God, and is sharing a room with Captain Elazar Steel, a man strutting around on one high-heeled boot and one peg leg.
Steel doesn't care that the winks, smiles, and small touches he and Hank share might get them hanged once they land on the ground again. He is determined to show Hank there is magic in the world and that there is no better place to be than on his balloon ship steering towards the Arctic Circle.

Taking Woodstock is the funny, touching, and true story of Elliot Tiber, the man who was instrumental in arranging the site for the original Woodstock Concert. Elliot, whose parents owned an upstate New York motel, was working in Greenwich Village in the summer of 1969. He socialized with the likes of Truman Capote, Tennessee Williams, and photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, and yet somehow managed to keep his gay life a secret from his family. Then on Friday, June 28, Elliot walked into the Stonewall Inn-and witnessed the riot that would galvanize the American gay movement and enable him to take stock of his own lifestyle. And on July 15, when Elliot learned that the Woodstock Concert promoters were unable to stage the show in Wallkill, he offered to find them a new venue. Soon he was swept up in a vortex that would change his life forever.
