Synopsis

A en Victor Bâton, la solitud i les ànsies d'estimar i ser estimat el devoren. Emanuel Bove va escriure Els meus amics amb només vint-i-cinc anys. El seu estil despullat i de precisió quirúrgica —cinematogràfic, gairebé antiliterari— va fascinar el públic francès de fa un segle. Després va venir un llarg període de letargia i oblit editorial, però la posteritat és pacient, i l'obstinació dels admiradors de Bove —Beckett, Michon, Handke, Vila-Matas, Pàmies i el mateix prologuista de la nostra edició, Jordi Cornudella— fa temps que ha convertit Bove en un clàssic, i Els meus amics, en una obra mestra.
