Winston Smith
Winston Smith is a pen name taken from Orwell's 1984. In that book, Smith was the lone voice raised against the groupthink we see and hear all the time. I did feel, as I wrote this, that I was a lone voice crying in the wilderness. My hope is that people of every shade of opinion and none, will read this book, not necessarily to be persuaded to my view, though that would be good, but at least to have their eyes opened to views and facts that will be new to them and may shock and surprise...
