I write from the heart. Ideas come from personal experiences, such as tragedy, loss, happiness, and pain. My dreams and problems with sleep over the years have helped to fuel the fire that is my poetry. I grew up in the high desert of Southern California, in a town called Apple Valley. There?s not a whole lot for a kid to do in the middle of the desert, except play in the dirt. I. E. Riding bikes, building jumps, dirt bikes, and eventually, drinking beer.
