Turquoise Class
George’s Dragon Adventure has been written and illustrated by a group of seven children aged 9–12 years old. They are known as Turquoise Class at Selworthy School in Taunton. Selworthy takes children aged 4–19 with learning disabilities and a range of coexisting conditions. Over the course of a term, the children worked collaboratively to create characters and decide on the plot of the story.
