Myrna Boles cleans houses part-time. She dropped out of high school in her senior year, and she turned eighty years old in 2012. She has two daughters and a son and lives in Michigan.
Tim Basham, her son, took her stories and placed them into book form, connecting the events of her life together. He also contributed to the book from his eyewitness accounts of her life. He has a degree in web design and is an information technology supervisor. He has two children and also lives in Michigan.
