Sonny J. Akpan is a retired banker from Nigeria.
He had his college education in the United States, with an
MBA postgraduate degree in business management from
East Texas State University, Texarkana (a tri-state city that
borders Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana), Texas.
He also holds associate and bachelor degrees in industrial
chemistry from Kilgore and Wiley colleges in Texas, USA.
Returning to Nigeria after his studies, he served as a
graduate manager-trainee under his primary assignment of
