Sandra Burdett
The author, Sandra is a retired medical secretary. She enjoys visits to the cinema and theatre, amateur photography and reading - mainly autobiographies. In the sixties she and her new husband, Geoff, emigrated to Australia, travelling by ship to Perth, Western Australia. After a year in Perth they travelled overland (across the Nullarbor Plain) from Perth to Melbourne in Victoria, where they settled and had a family.
Inspiration for this book was mainly to record a family and social history...
