My husband died in 2018 and i was encouraged to write my story and of the years caring for him with vascular dementia. They were the hardest years for us both. We had spent 63 years of our life together raising a family of 3 children. Through sheer hard work throughout his life in England he was able to give his family a life that he never had growing up in Belfast. He deserved all that he had achieved.
