Born into a political family, Rita Akoto Coker had her early education in Ghana then left for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, United States of America.
She has since traveled the world as a Communications professional for a nonprofit , writing and publishing three books for the organization and four novels of her own. Boarding Time was her second novel.
