Richard Owen
For most of his adult life Richard Owen has written, as an avocation, articles about fly-fishing, bird hunting and clay target shooting, for a number of outdoor publications. One of these pieces, describing the youthful outdoor adventures of his two grandsons (both past National League All-Stars), won a 2008 first place award for "Best Magazine Sports Story," by the Society of Professional Journalists.
