
Peter Smith
A keen rowing fan, Peter Smith learnt to cox at LMBC, the boat club of St John’s College, Cambridge. He won numerous trophies there, and coxed the University Lightweights to victory over Oxford. Now mainly a writer and lecturer, his professional life has centred on procurement management, and he is a top 20 influencer in that field. He has written four business books, including Bad Buying – How Organisations Waste Billions Through Failures, Frauds and F*ck-ups” published by Penguin in 2020.
