Michelle Richmond
Michelle Richmond is the author of six books, including the New York Times bestseller The Year of Fog. Her stories and essays have appeared in Glimmer Train, The Missouri Review, The Kenyon Review, The Wall Street Journal, Salon, and elsewhere. She has received the Catherine Doctorow Innovative Fiction Prize, the Associated Writing Programs Award for Short Fiction, and the Mississippi Review Fiction Prize. Her books have been published in 23 languages. She lives with her husband and son in Northern California.
