Mary Buckland
Carna Brooks grew up on a farm in South Africa and immigrated to London in 2005. Carna’s home language is Afrikaans, and she hopes to publish an Afrikaans version of her book soon. She holds a master’s degree in education and currently teaches in an inclusion room in a mainstream school. Carna resides with her husband and beautiful daughter in Dartford, Kent, England. What Are Aunties Made Of? is her first book.
