Maria Beaman
Identical twin sisters Maria and Monica Beaman began writing poetry at a very young age. Born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, both girls received their diploma at Strawberry Mansion High School. Both ladies then went on to attend Tuskegee University, where their writing creativity began to take off. Maria graduated class of 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science but found her poetry to be her true calling.
