Lissa Evans
Before she became a writer, Lissa spent four years as a doctor, and then she worked as a comedy producer, first in radio and then in television. Her first children's book, Small Change for Stuart, was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and the Costa Children’s Book Award; as was her third book, Wed Wabbit. She has also written four books for adults. She has two teenage daughters, and lives in London.
