Kevin Karella was born on the frontiers of Alaska into a family of ten siblings. Life was tough and they relied on the land to make ends meet. At 5 years old, he was told he would never walk again but by 16 he was jumping out of perfectly good airplanes. Kevin would continue to defy the odds and became a licensed explosive "Powder Monkey" and bush pilot at 18.
