She has researched and written content for books and guidemaps including The Outdoor Swimming Guide, Big Rides: Great Britain and Ireland, Big Trails: Heart of Europe and Big Trails: Great Britain and Ireland. She is an enthusiastic, if unaccomplished, walker, fellrunner and cyclist and when not at her desk, she is usually to be found knee-deep in bog in the Peak District.
