Karen George Aukema grew up on a farm and ranch in Florida. She has a master’s degree in education. She has fourteen years’ experience as a high school English teacher and/or family and consumer science teacher. She and her husband are the parents of five children and live in north Florida.
Tessa Guze is a classically trained illustrator and portrait painter. She specializes in traditional mediums, oil paint, charcoals, and watercolors. She is a mother and animal lover.
