Joyce Murphy Arendt grew up in rural Illinois, a farm girl with a heart for telling stories, and an un-quenchable imagination just waiting to be released. Raising a family of six kids and working in the death care industry took most of her time until later in life. After her family was grown she moved close to her parents to care for them in their later years, eventually moving in with them as full time caregiver.
