I was born in the townland of Hass in Dungiven, Co Derry, N.I in 1952. Although my writing of Verse didn’t start until 1992, I have always had a love of poetry and song. This love steamed from childhood, as home was always a buzz with the sound of traditional song either from the radio, or sessions were local musicians gathered in the kitchen, as such was the form of socializing in those days.
