Jan van Tuyl
Jan van Tuyl, a Dutch citizen, started life in Antwerp, Belgium during the early years of WWII. His father was a successful publisher. He was the second son in this Calvinistic family. The author and his brothers and sister had a firm religious upbringing. From a very young age he was intrigued by the Book of Genesis and specifically by the high ages that people lived to during the times before Noah and just after the Flood.
