Jan Taki
The author is a medical doctor and an acupuncturist living in Ireland. Originally from Singapore, he speaks a dozen languages, paints, writes poetry and is an exponent in martial arts; the study of Japanese swords and other edged weapons being his main hobby. The author's interest in the various cultures of Asia and his intimate knowledge of the jungle forms the basis of the Kembali books, the first called "'Kembali ~ The Return of the Mystic', and this one, 'Kembali ~ Into Unchartered Waters'.
