Jack Hill is an experienced craftsman, teacher, and writer, dedicated to keeping traditional wood-crafting alive and flourishing. He is the author of multiple books and has contributed regularly to leading woodworking magazines, including a monthly "Diary from a Country Workshop" feature for Practical Woodworking. He was a popular instructor of country chair-making courses as well as a demonstrator and competition judge. His artistry and instruction are well known throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other European countries.
