Henryk Sienkiewicz
Henryk Sienkiewicz (1846–1916) was a Polish novelist and journalist. After working as a reporter in Warsaw, he turned to historical fiction and published his best-known novel, Quo Vadis (1896), set in Nero’s Rome. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1905.
