Harry De Windt
Harry de Windt (1856-1933) was a British explorer and travel writer born in Paris. He crossed Asia twice by land, attempted the overland route from Paris to New York, reported wars for the London press, and wrote a dozen books of travel. His works include From Paris to New York by Land and Through Savage Europe.
