Harry Bohan
After ordination in 1963, Harry Bohan studied sociology with a view to understanding and interpreting ‘the signs of the times’ in a changing Ireland. He is recognised as a leading social commentator and has been the driving force behind several practical projects aimed at strengthening ‘family and community’, including the Rural Resource Organisation and the Céifin Centre for Values-led Change. He is the local priest for the parish of Sixmilebridge and Kilmurry, and his passion for Clare hurling has never been stronger.
