George Baumli
George Baumli was the eleventh child born to Swiss immigrants in the mountains of western Colorado. He went to elementary school in Marble and to high school in Glenwood Springs. He worked in a variety of jobs before being drafted into the US Army and serving in the Korean War. He used the GI Bill to get a BS Degree inCivil Engineering from the University of Colorado.
