Gene Augustine
The oldest son of Mike and Christina Augustine, Gene had six Brothers and one Sister. He attended High School in Lenora,Kansas graduating in 1955.Attended The University of Central Missouri on a football scholarship and was on their Championship Team in 1956,Making Second Team all Conference that year as a running back.He sustained a knee injury his Junior year and after two major surgeries was unable to continue playing.Gene married Belle Carter of Corder,Missouri in 1959 and they celebrated...
