Earnest N. Bracey
Earnest N. Bracey is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, college professor, jazz trumpeter, and writer. He taught African American history and received his PhD from Capella University and his doctorate from George Mason University. He is author of Fannie Lou Hamer: The Life of a Civil Rights Icon, Daniel ‘Chappie’ James: The First African American Four Star General, and Requiems for Black Folks.
