Dr. Jack Birdge
Dr. Jack Birge graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 1956. After three years of postgraduate work he entered practice in Carrollton Georgia a small town in the western part of the state as a general practitioner. This was to be a temporary assignment to obtain financial stability necessitated by the economics of pursuing a career in medicine in the 1950s.
