David has always been hustling. At school he organised a gardening round, cutting neighbours grass and trimming hedges. At college, he sold Karate Gi to all the University Karate clubs in Scotland. As President of the Sports Union, David arranged for the smaller sports clubs be able to collectively order jumpers for members with the University crest embroidered using a die that David centrally funded.
