Daniel (Ghasem) Akbari is an Iranian sharia lawyer and the founder and president of the Center for Sharia Studies. He graduated from Tehran University School of Law and practiced law before the Supreme Court of Iran. He received his Master’s in Criminal Justice from Texas State University and a Graduate Certificate from the Bush School of Government and Public Service.
