C.K. Shepherd
Charles Kenilworth (“C.K.”) Shepherd was born on May 31, 1895, at home in Birmingham, England and was the youngest of the seven children in the family, many of whom were entrepreneurs and inventors. In January 1915, at the age of 19, he enlisted in the Royal Air Force to be an aircraft engine mechanic during after World War I.
